Marcus holds a Bachelor of Computing Degree from the University of Tasmania where he studied classes like Programming, Web Development, Philosophy and Psychology.
Marcus has completed training such as: Microsoft Course 2542: Advanced Data Access With Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Course 2541: Core Data Access With Microsoft Visual Studio, CISCO IT Essentials Instructor Training and attended Readify's .NET Essentials Premier Classroom.
Marcus has been teaching guitar for a number of years including private lessons, working in schools and at 'Encore Performing Arts Studio' in Burnie. His students learn practical theory and kick arse technique.
Marcus earned a Diploma of Music studying: performance, theory, improvisation, technical production, marketing and project management. He studied 'Music Pedagodgy' and 'Conducting' at university, and is an associate member of the Tasmanian Music Teachers Association.
Marcus is a teacher at TasTAFE.
He designs, builds and delivers online courses. Marcus is passionate about eLearning and eTeaching, and strives to create engaging, social and collaborative online learning environments.
Marcus is an advanced user and administrator of the learning management system Moodle, and has developed a number of add-ons and modules to customise and extend its functionality to suit the needs of staff and students.
Marcus teaches in areas such as Web Design, Programming and Social Media from Certificate II to Certificate IV level. In past years, Marcus has taught 'Music Studies' at Hellyer College, Certificate II in Music, Certificate III in Music, Certificate III in Technical Production, and has worked as a tutor at The University of Tasmania for programming and web design units.
Marcus is registered with the Teachers Registration Board of Tasmania and holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110). He is also working towards completing a Bachelor of Education (Applied Learning).

Marcus Wynwood is an Australian guitarist.
Growing up on a diet of music like Hendrix and SRV, Marcus has become a mean blues and rock guitarist but also takes influence from bands like Radiohead, The Beatles and Rage Against The Machine. Marcus first picked up the guitar when he was 7 years old.
Marcus had a Number 1 on Triple J Unearthed in 2007, and his 2008 solo acoustic release was voted 4th place in the Examiner newspapers "Top Tassie CDs" poll. In 2009 he was listed as a finalist in the APRA PD Awards. Marcus has performed on local radio & television, is a regular performer in local venues as part of a band, duo, or as a solo artist, and has appeared in local newspapers and music industry publications.
In 2011 Marcus and the band performed on the main stage at The Falls Festival in Marion Bay on new years eve. Then in 2012, they travelled overseas on their Canadian tour, playing sold-out shows and huge festivals such as The Hard Rock Cafe in Toronto and the Envol et Macadam Festival in Québec City.
Marcus has supported acts such as Evermore and Ian Moss as a solo artist; and as part of a band supported The Sweet and Michael Paynter.
He is a massive guitar nerd, owns too many guitars, builds his own effects pedals and pretty much talks about guitars all the time...
